Why wait, quit now – Welayudam tells Wimal

Minister Wimal Weerawansa should quit the government now itself as the Northern Provincial Council elections are scheduled to be held as announced by the government, UNP MP K. Welayudam said today. He claimed that it was pointless to stay in the government threatening to quit if the Northern PC polls are held. Mr.Welayudam also requested all Sri Lankan households to raise black flags on May 21 in support
of the protests against the recent electricity tariff hike.
